JealousyIt was late in the afternoon. It wasn’t time for Kiba to be awake, this is the time for the nocturnal and crepuscular kukuris to roam. But he needed food. He didn’t want his stomach to wake up his brothers who seem to be sleeping in. Trying to be quiet he stepped outside into the warm afternoon breeze.
He was wandering through a forest when he came up to a small open field that’s framed with trees and bushes leading back into the forest. He heard a small rustle from a bush He walked over to the bush cautiously, he got a little fright as a hazel dove jumped out of the bush. Kiba stepped back a bit and watched as the strange dove shook her body to rid of all of the debris of the bush on her fur.
"Oh! Sorry about that! I didn't know you were there. My names Laki!" The hazel dove said excitedly. "I'm Kiba" Kiba replied. Another dove? Another chance at getting a mate. He walked up to her. "It's fine." He says smoothly, looking up at the taller dove. Laki giggled at his att
An Experience.Mirae loves hanging out with his handler- well being carried by, even Almond carries him on his back! But its a horror once he's placed down on the ground again. One-eye had to do something who knows what so he was put down and left alone outside. Mirae sighs as he wandered around the spacious field and looked around. Surely there's not much kukus to see him about..because he himself cant see one. It relieved him a bit..ateast for now. For the time being, he laid down on the patch of vibrant green grass, his crimson coat stood out for being dark compared to the lighter grass.
Laki was walking around clueless as to where she was going. She was wandering around the field. She should've been careful on her walks as she might accidentally cross a territory, but she the thought didn't stop her when she saw a crimson rook. She thought to herself for a moment and thought he could be a good companion! The hazel dove walked over to him. "Hey!" She chirped, smiling sofly to greet the stranger.
~A Cold Night~ EnamouredTobi wasn't exactly sure how he had managed to get stuck with Salvia... not that he didn't enjoy having different company and seeing new faces every now and then... just that usually communication was a bit easier. The other rook was extremely energetic and almost stupidly brave, and in the brief couple of days they had spent together Tobi had needed to steer him away from danger more times than he could count. The recent hurricane that had occurred had separated Tobi from his family and Salvia from his handler, so they had been traveling together on their way back home. Every now and then, they would run into a different kukuri, ask directions or maybe even spend the day resting with them. Today was one of those days, but in a different way. They had come across a diurnal dove who had been injured and lost during the hurricane, and though she was very wary and frightened she had sought company and protection with them. It was night, but she was too afraid to be resting, up until she m
~Playing Around~It was a bright day and Anya was sitting enjoying the sun before it set down to sleep. She was peaceful until the moment was interrupted by her handler Venu. She walked over to him. "We need to get Cyrus hes probably still asleep." Venu said as he led his kukuri back to where Cyrus had made himself comfortable. Anya nudged him a little to wake him up.
As Anastasia nudged him the rook growled, brushing away where her hands had touched his fur before trying to go back to sleep. It was still day time, and he had no business being awake yet. Now was the time of the Diurnal and Crepuscular kukuri's, and he was neither of those. In response to the snappy behavior of the albino male, the poltergeist handler blew on the kukuri's ears, which twitched irritably in response. Having someone blow air into your ears was unpleasant, and Cyrus opened his ruby red eyes and huffed angrily about his personal space being violated.
Anastasia giggled a little at his behavior. She backed off a bit with a tin
